My name is John Wormald and I live with my wife Amanda here in Abersoch. Abersoch is situated more or less at the end of the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales. You either love Abersoch or you hate it. It's about a lifestyle really, and those people who love it will love it forever. We've both been coming here for over 40 years now and the place is still as magical today as it was then. Not much has really changed since we first came here, which is possibly why the place is still so popular with people from the 'real' world. In 2002 I had the opportunity to come and live here, which is something I had always dreamt of. I've never really bothered taking photographs and I haven't owned a camera since I was a kid because I was just too impatient to wait for my films to be developed. Digital came along and my life changed forever. The light in this part of the world is amazing. I got so fed up of telling everybody back in Manchester how great the sunrise was this morning and how big and spectacular the waves were in Porth Ceiriad that I decided to buy a camera so I could show them instead. So in 2008 we decided to open our own Gallery and Seaside Emporium. Totally Abersoch was born..........
